Chris Fowler is Lecturer in Later Prehistoric Archaeology at the Newcastle University, United Kingdom.
His research interests include Neolithic and early Bronze Age Britain; personhood, the body and identity in archaeology and anthropology; mortuary practice in prehistoric Europe; and cosmology in prehistoric Europe. He is the author of the book The Archaeology of Personhood: An Anthropological Approach (2004).
